Darren Steeves, MSc., Bed, CEP, is CEO of Vendura Wellness, a company dedicated to increasing the productivity of an organization through enhanced employee wellness.
Darren worked 12 years for Dalhousie University and still holds an adjunct professor position with the School of Health and Human Performance. For 20 years, he has been involved in high performance sport consulting with national team athletes including national champions, Olympic medalists and world champions, such as the Canadian Women’s Hockey team, Canadians National Sailing team, Men’s Softball, Canoe Kayak Canada and Olympic medalist and world champion Mark de Jonge.
Darren is a highly skilled, sought after physical health presenter. He has written articles for Canadian Living and Men’s Health magazines, and was a column contributor for the Nova Scotia Wellness Association. He has had regular TV and radio appearances on CBC Maritime Noon, Breakfast Television, and the Life Networks Taking it Off. Under the umbrella of Vendura Wellness, Darren is a contributing author to an innovative behaviour modification model known as Behavioural Engineering,TMwhich will lead to exciting products for the corporate wellness market in 2015.
