This root of corporate health includes your daily consumption habits of both food and beverages and is very closely linked to physical activity and its’ effect on obesity within the workplace. Nutrition behaviour needs to be examined, understood and valued from a lifestyle perspective, in order to ensure one consumes their daily dietary needs for all macronutrients (Carbohydrates, Fats and Proteins) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). The primary focus is not to lose weight and engage in fad or crash diets, but to maintain balanced nutritional habits to ensure optimal health and performance.
